Through my 10-year teaching, I have had wonderful students, and have admired the adventure of constantly discovering innovative schemes of working with a material to make it fantastic and pleasurable for the student I am sitting with.
My teaching method
The training approach of mine is focused on a student: my intention is always to establish a supportive, friendly and enjoyable workspace for discovering how to succeed.
I react immediately to the requirements of any child I tutor, constructing my teaching technique in the way that it best serves their personality and potentials.
I also believe that learners understand well if they're working on exersises related to their studies. This speaks of writing tasks, using games, making rhymes, drawing pictures, presentations, and other varieties of interaction, that makes students active and amazed regarding the material.
I teach competently and properly, promptly investigating areas for upgrading, later using simple pattern spotting ways (whenever necessary). I pay attention to making simple tasks for the scholar produce their private sense of the subject. It is a true delight to find new and interesting approaches of delivering the material so that it is interesting and always fresh for both sides.
The psychology of tutoring mathematics
Through patience, encouragement, and humour, I always work tirelessly to teach my children that they are capable of much more than they think.
I trust that my willingness to switch teaching strategies according to the goals of students, subject matter, and child demographics are all critical for my ability to be strong as a mentor.
I base my teaching on the position that the only way to learn maths is to do mathematics. Meantime the process of reading proofs and examples in textbooks and from lecture notes is valuable, the true learning comes through solving mathematical issues, either computational, theoretical, or both.
I have also discovered that giving tasks which have a direct relation to the student's own life can speed their learning the topic and comprehension its application.
